MAELSTROM

A contemporary take on the Greek myth of Electra and Orestes. A French woman, Alex (Elektra) and her Portuguese boyfriend Manuel (Bacchus) arrive at a bed and breakfast on the slopes of Mt. Tamalpais owned by Christian (Agamemnon) and his estranged son Ethan (Orestes.) Dancing. Romance. Eros and Thanatos galore. Fellini meets Sophocles via Cassavetes.
